YOUR INFORMATION. YOUR CHOICE.
Website privacy.

Joining the launch list.
Driveable collects your email address, signup time and consent to send the New Zealand launch and early-access updates you choose. Joining is optional. Without an email address and consent, we cannot add you to the list; you can still use this website. Joining does not create an app account, start a subscription or activate the launch discount.
Signups are stored with our website hosting provider, Cloudflare, and are accessible to Driveable’s operator. Other visitors cannot view the list. We do not sell it or share it for other businesses’ marketing. We keep an active signup until these updates are complete or you ask to leave.
Use the unsubscribe link in an update or email support@driveable.co.nz. Unsubscribing removes your email address and its unsubscribe token from the active record. A record of the removal and consent history may remain; it is not used to send further updates. We do not send an automatic welcome email when you join.
Getting help.
If you email Driveable, we use your email address and the details you provide to answer the enquiry and resolve the issue. Driveable and our email provider, Purelymail, process those messages. Include only the information needed to explain the problem; keep passwords, verification codes and full payment-card details out of your message.
Support messages are kept for responding to your enquiry and any necessary follow-up, security or legal obligations. Contact us to discuss removal. We reply within 2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding New Zealand public holidays).
Visiting the website.
Cloudflare hosts the site and processes ordinary connection information needed to serve it and protect it from abuse. Application diagnostics record a random request ID, route category, response status and duration. They exclude form entries, authentication tokens, receipt contents and URL query strings. Signup protection uses short-lived, hashed network identifiers; it does not store your raw IP address in the signup database. Hosting providers may process information outside New Zealand.
The website remembers scroll position within your browser history so refreshing can return you to where you were reading. The calculator uses the figures you enter on your device and does not send them to Driveable.
Google Analytics runs only if you choose “Allow analytics”. It uses cookies to measure page visits, general device and browser information, and approximate location. Google processes this information, potentially outside New Zealand. We do not enable advertising signals or send email addresses, form entries, app records or receipts. Page addresses sent to Analytics exclude query strings and anchors, including unsubscribe tokens.
You can choose “No analytics” and still use the whole website. Change your choice with “Analytics preferences” in the footer. Withdrawing permission stops future measurement and removes this site’s Analytics cookies; it does not erase data already received by Google. How Google uses information from websites explains this processing. You can also read Google’s privacy policy.
Access, correction and questions.
You can ask to access or correct your personal information, leave the launch list, or raise a privacy concern. Email support@driveable.co.nz and mark your message “Privacy Officer”. We may need to verify that the information is yours; do not send a password or government identification in your first message.
We use and disclose information for the purposes explained here, necessary service operations, and disclosures required by law. If you are unhappy with our response, you can contact the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
When you use the app.
This notice covers the website, launch list and support enquiries. Driveable is being tested before public launch. Connected test accounts use Supabase for sign-in, saved records and attached receipts. Raw GPS coordinates remain on the recording device; shift times, break duration and distance totals can sync to the account.
Receipt recognition runs on the device. Saving a receipt in a connected account uploads the photo to private storage. Android recognition also sends technical diagnostics to Google. Read the full app privacy draft and terms and conditions. A public service address and final provider-retention checks remain pending before public launch.
