No. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information or datasets made from your work records. That includes your location, earnings, expenses and receipts. We do not use them for targeted advertising. Read how your data is used.

No. Create a free account, add your work and vehicle, and start with the everyday tools. Pro is an optional upgrade for receipt scanning, multiple vehicles, detailed insights and CSV reports. There is no trial countdown or automatic upgrade. Paid subscriptions are not available during testing.

No. Joining the waitlist is free. It does not create a Driveable app account, reserve a guaranteed testing place or start a paid subscription. You can choose whether to use the app when it becomes available.

No. Driveable is being built for rideshare and taxi drivers, food delivery, parcel couriers and other independent contractors. You can add your own service names and record earnings from more than one service.

The app supports Cars and 2 wheelers, including motorbikes and scooters. Suggested vehicle information depends on the available data. If a matching fuel-consumption rating isn’t available, you can enter or adjust your own estimate.

Your vehicle’s fuel-consumption estimate and recorded work distance help estimate fuel used. Fuel purchases entered as expenses provide a price per litre, so estimates can reflect your recent fuel costs. These are estimates, not a direct measurement from your vehicle.

No. Expenses have their own page because a fuel fill, phone bill or piece of equipment can cover many shifts. You record the expense separately and apply the relevant work-use share.

Pro receipt scanning suggests the amount, date and category from a receipt photo. You review and confirm the details, including the work-use share, before saving. Free users can enter expenses manually and attach a receipt photo.

No. We are not accountants or tax advisers. Driveable helps record expenses, estimate driving profit and track vehicle servicing. Categories, receipt scans and saved work-use shares do not establish deductibility. We do not prepare or file returns. Check claims with IRD or a qualified adviser.

No. It uses entered earnings, estimated vehicle costs and any linked direct expenses. Other standalone purchases may be excluded. It is a planning estimate, not a complete profit-and-loss statement, GST calculation or tax return. Keep platform statements, receipts and travel records alongside the app.

IRD generally requires records for at least seven tax years, and approval for offshore record storage. Shift totals alone are not a complete vehicle logbook. Keep independent copies of receipts, statements and journey details. Driveable is not an IRD-approved tax archive. Read IRD’s record-keeping guidance.

The native app is designed to store shift and GPS information locally when mobile data is unavailable. GPS reception and phone permissions still matter. Background and locked-screen tracking need real-device testing before launch. The browser preview does not record GPS.
